Tarifa is great for kitesurfing! Set on the most southern tip of Spain, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. , looking towards Africa just a few miles across the Straits of Gibraltar.
Steady winds from the Atlantic and some great waves, make this the best place for kite surfing in Europe. It is also the place where many Kitesurf World Champions get together and chill ‘after work’.
The beach starts in Tarifa town and extends about 6km to the Club Mistral centre at the Hurricane and extends around the small headland past Las Dunas to another 8 km of fantastic white beaches.
